Arnold Lobel's well-loved characters hop from the page to the stage in this musical adaption, accompanied by a crazy score with salutes to the Andrew Sisters, Jazz, Country & Western among other musical styles. A Year With Frog And Toad remains true to the spirit of the original stories as it follows two great friends, the cheerful and popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad through four fun-filled seasons. Waking from hibernation in the spring, they proceed to plant gardens, swim, rake leaves and go sledding, learning life lessons along the way, including a most important one about friendship and rejoicing in the attributes that make each of us different and special.

"1964". . . The Tribute takes their audiences on a musical journey to an era in rock history that will live in all of our hearts forever. They are hailed by critics and fans alike as the most authentic and endearing Beatles tribute in the world. Choosing songs from the pre-Sgt-Pepper era, "1964" recreates an early 60s live Beatles concert, with period instruments, clothing, hairstyles, and onstage banter.

A Bridge to There: A Reading by George Lober

George Lober is a former winner of the Spectrum Prize for Poetry and the Ruth Cable Memorial Prize for Poetry. His poems have appeared in numerous literary journals including Eclectic Literary Forum; Quarry West; Homestead Review; MiPoesias; Lily; Monterey Poetry Review, Sand Hill Review; and in The Anthology of Monterey Bay Poets, edited by Ryan Masters (Chatoyant, 2004). George Lober's first book of poems, Shift of Light, was published by Hummingbird Press in 2002; his new book, A Bridge to There, is scheduled for publication, also by Hummingbird, in early March 2009. 4th Annual Mud Run

We invite you to come get "down and dirty" at the 4th annual Mud Run on the last Saturday in March. The challenging but fun course includes hills, water, obstacles, drill sargeants, and yes, plenty of mud. The Mud Run is a Big Sur Marathon event sponsored by the U.S. Army Garrison-Presidio of Monterey and California State University Monterey Bay.
